Prachuap Khiri Khan in Central Thailand

Around 280 kilometres south of Bangkok, Prachuap Khiri Khan was established in 1845 during the reign of King Rama IV. The province is famed for its beaches and mountains but also has some historical attractions to draw visitors. Hua Hin is the province’s key attraction. Previously a royal resort, Hua Hin is an excellent seaside location boasting a fantastic beach. Although a major draw for weekenders from the Bangkok capital, Hua Hin is also becoming popular with foreign tourists.
